For a while all electric loco's that spent the week-end at Ipswich would go to Norwich Crown Point Depot for a quick wash and brush up, here 90128/90129 and 90150 are towed by a pair of Class 86/6's including 86631, They are seen at the former station at Trowse, Norwich on 5/12/93.

Ipswich drivers had about two or three attempts at learning Class 90's, such was the delay in getting them into service on freightliners, numerous crew training trains were run, On one we see 90002 hauling redundant Class 302 EMU's at the bottom of Belstead Bank, Ipswich on 5/8/89 running as 2G65, 1235 Stowmarket to Thornton Field.
